We are preparing for our 11th Rotary International sponsored trip to the Dominican Republic where we serve hundreds of hearing-impaired patients at the Good Samaritan Hospital in La Romana. Since 2002 we've treated more than 1,100 infants, children and adults who have benefited from the gift of hearing, then learned to listen and speak.
In addition, we will continue to provide solar recharable technology for recharging hearing aid batteries. This technology will reduce the operation expense for hearing aid users and make hearing affordable.
